You′ve seen them in Rubicon shows ranging from Jacques Brel... to All My Sons to Man of La Mancha. This dynamic duo comes home after acclaimed cabaret performances in London and New York. This new show includes songs of love, lust, loss, cherished dreams and wisdom by such greats as George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill, Stephen Sondheim, and, of course, Amanda McBroom.

The concert will feature song selections from Miss Saigon, as well as other songs created by Claude-Michel Schönberg, Alain Boublil and Richard Maltby, Jr. (together and separately). Known for their spectacular tales of passion and beauty, Schönberg (music) and Boublil (lyrics) have created two of the most successful musicals of all time – Miss Saigon and  Les Misérables, as well as the sweeping epics Martin Guerre and The Pirate Queen (the latter directed by Maltby). Richard Maltby, Jr. is best known for Big, Baby, Fosse, Closer Than Ever, Starting Here, Starting Now and Ring of Fire.  The concert features Jennifer Hubilla (Miss Saigon - U.S. and U.K. National Tours), Rebecca Ann Johnson (Little Miss Scrooge - Rubicon), Kevin Odekirk (Les Misérables - Broadway), Bonifacio Deoso, Jr. (Miss Saigon -Broadway) and Harrison White (The Lion King – Broadway).

This joyous revue celebrates the groundbreaking genius of two of the most influential and innovative writing teams in musical theatre history. Rodgers and Hart had a string of more than 20 successes, ranging from On the Town to Pal Joey to Babes in Arms. Rodgers later teamed with the prolific Oscar Hammerstein on such classics as Oklahoma!, Carousel, The Sound of Music, State Fair, The King and I, Cinderella and South Pacific.

After productions in 15 U.S. cities and in Japan, Canada and England, Daddy Long Legs makes a triumphant return to Rubicon where the show premiered. Set in the early 1900s, this exquisitely moving story is the vivid account of a young girl as she blossoms into a beautiful, intelligent and vivacious woman. A trustee of the John Grier Orphanage offers a proper education to the 18-year-old Jerusha. The benefactor’s only requirements are that Jerusha never know his identity, and that she write him monthly (though he will not respond). Her letters to him paint a moving portrait of her lonely life in the orphanage, and the development of her mind and spirit.
